Christmas decorations are a very personalized thing. Sometimes simplicity is the perfect strategy, sometimes fun is a perfect idea. Other times you want things in a perfect line, and once in a while, things need to be all over the place. And this year Point Pleasant did a great job covering all the bases.

It's not like I set out to tour Point Pleasant Boro or anything. All I wanted to do was pick up my pizza from Point Pizza and eat a little dinner. But the Christmas spirit overtook me. The great people of Point Boro worked long and hard to decorate their homes, and wow, has it paid off.

It literally took me 20 minutes (normally a 5-minute drive) to pick up my pizza because I kept stopping to grab those pictures of some really well-decorated homes. The thing I love most about Point boro is that it's a simple, hard-working town with a lot of great people.

And that is exactly what you see in the Christmas decorations. They are warm and welcoming, and really capture the feel of the season. So, you won't see the elaborate, light synchronized, 'see them from space' kind of displays here. Just good old-fashioned Christmas at home beauty.

Check out some of the really nicely decorated homes I encountered in a two or three-block trip, I love it!

And that's just a few blocks of Point Pleasant Boro Christmas right there. I just want to say thank you to everyone who spent precious time working on their decorations this year, and I want you to know, it's appreciated.
