Powerball goes unclaimed again, jackpot grows to $430 million
TRENTON — The Powerball jackpot went unclaimed again meaning the total prize grows to an annuity value of $430 million with a cash value of $273.4 million.
The numbers drawn on Saturday were: 20-24-26-35-49, Powerball: 19, Power Play: 2.One ticket sold in New Jersey matched four numbers and the Powerball, and is worth $50,000.
Powerball has gone without a jackpot winner since the $447 million jackpot went to a California ticket holder on June 10. The game is played in 46 states and territories.
The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday would be the game's ninth largest annuity ever won. The Smith family of Trenton won a $429 million Powerball jackpot in May, 2016, but chose to take a lump sum cash payout of $242 million.
Both the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots had annuity values of over $300 million until Friday. A ticket sold in Illinois won the $393 million Mega Millions jackpot on Friday.
