Now that December is here, everyone's really getting into the holiday spirit, and when it comes to being festive, some towns just seem to get more into it than others.

Lifestyle blog OnlyInYourState.com ranked the Top 10 Christmas Towns in NJ, described as "specific towns with the most magnificent myriad of holiday celebrations."

Out of the 10, only one is in our area, which is my cool little town of Red Bank! (Wall did get a shoutout for being home to the annual Christmas Light Show, but somehow there's no mention of Asbury Park's Christmas festivities.)

It's totally understandable that RB made the list...there's SO many holiday-themed things going on in town, courtesy of Red Bank RiverCenter. Even if you missed last week's town lighting and Holiday Express concert, you can still check out the town tree in Riverside Gardens Park along the Navesink River, enjoy a classic horse and wagon ride through town, check out the Menorah lighting, do some shopping during the Holiday Open House, take pictures with Santa, listen to carolers and musicians of all kinds on the streets with Holiday Harmonies, and most fun of all, the 12 Days of Christmas Scavenger Hunt, where you can win tons of Red Bank prize packages!

So who else made the cut for best towns for Christmas?

1. Cape May
2. Historic Smithville (Galloway)
3. Morristown
4. Cranbury
5. Ocean City6. Chester
7. Red Bank
8. Princeton
9. Atlantic City
10. Medford
