Red Bank’s ‘Young Rising Sons’ Perform on the Point Soundstage

We were excited to welcome Red Bank's own Young Rising Sons to 94.3 The Point!

Dylan Scott (lead guitar), Julian Dimagiba (bass) and Steve Patrick (drums) grew up together playing music in Monmouth County. After watching Andy Tongren play an acoustic set at a New York City bar, they approached him to be their lead singer and Young Rising Sons was born. The band is now based in Red Bank.

We are very psyched that this local band has been signed by Interscope Records, a major label and the first step to mainstream success.

The guys played their current single "High" for us. Fair warning, the chorus is super catchy and will be stuck in your brain. The song has been featured on the NHL Awards, MLB Network, NBC Summer Image Campaign in 2014. It was also featured on Fox's “Red Band Society” and ABC’s “Selfie."

Young Rising Sons also treated us to a live version of their song "Red And Gold"

The band's two New York City shows are sold out, but they are playing the Stone Pony with The Kooks on June 19th. Tickets are still available.
