Toms River’s Huddy Park to Host Festival Starring David Cook

For the first time ever, there will be a major festival in Toms River at Huddy Park.

Rock the River is set for Saturday, July 27 from noon to 8 p.m.

According to Eventbrite, this family-friendly event sponsored by Little by Little Foundation and Bubby's Beanery will feature bands on the main stage, including American Idol winner David Cook. There will also be food trucks, vendors, kids activities, a stylish "retro" photo booth and some unique entertainment throughout the day.

Every dollar raised at 'Rock the River' will be distributed directly to families in need through the Little by Little Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children with brain cancer.

Passes will be $35, and children 7 and under are free.
