American Idol Season 7 winner David Cook performed live on The Point Sound Stage for an intimate audience on Tuesday afternoon.

Cook was joined by accompanying guitarist Andy Skibb and percussionist Kyle Peek and performed a three-song set which included acoustic versions of his hits "Come Back to Me," "Fade Into Me," and "The Last Goodbye."

During the performance, which was broadcast live on 94.3 The Point and streamed on 943thepoint.com, Cook also took answers from Point on-air personalities Matt Ryan and Laurie Cataldo as well as audience members.

Fans got new insights into the star, learning that his favorite football team is the Kansas City Chiefs, who hail from his native Missouri. Fans also discovered that Cook's favorite cookies are M&M sugar cookies.

When asked about his most memorable moments from his time on American Idol, Cook recalled his final performance, when he covered Collective Soul's "The World I Know."

"I was really proud of it," Cook said of his rendition.

The subject quickly turned to Cook's love life. When asked by a fan who he is dating, he replied "my music."

Cook's on-air performance comes ahead of a Tuesday evening concert at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville. Tickets are still available via Ticketmaster.
