TODAY Is Rook Coffee’s 2nd Annual Day Of Giving!
January 14th, 2020 is Rook Coffee's 2nd Annual Day of Giving so make sure you plan to stop by one of their locations at some point today!
The date for this fundraiser was chosen on purpose....it is the Jersey Shore coffee chain's 10th anniversary so congrats Rook!
So what is Rook Coffee's Annual Day of Giving?
It is when this Jersey Shore chain donates 100% of their sales made on a designated day to a few local charities and nonprofit organizations that they pick every year.
This year, Rook Coffee will be donating their sales to two different New Jersey organizations: 180 Turning Lives Around and The Emmanuel Cancer Foundation.

The Emmanuel Cancer Foundation:
"The Emmanuel Cancer Foundation provides New Jersey families facing the crisis of pediatric cancer a place to turn for comfort and support through professional in-home counseling and a uniquely tailored package of assistance – all free-of-charge."
180 Turning Lives Around:
"180 Turning Lives Around empowers survivors and families affected by domestic violence and sexual assault to find the courage and strength to turn their lives around. 180 supports this mission through: 24/7 hotlines – including the 2ND Floor Youth Helpline, counseling, legal advocacy, emergency shelter and transitional housing and art, play and music therapy for children."
