You may be able to buy beer and wine soon at Sesame Place. Some of my friends with young kids would say it's not soon enough. Lol. I'm not so sure this is the best idea.

According to Levittown Now, Sesame Place, which is run by SeaWorld Park, will have to put in a request to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Then, the board will do some research on whether or not it's a good idea to grant them a license.

The plan is to only sell it in certain areas of the park, like the two restaurants on site and  there are 3 private cabana areas available to rent which come with a private waiter or waitress. Anyone drinking will get a wristband and will have to stay in those areas and indulge. You won't be allowed to wander around the park with your kids while drinking, which is probably a smart idea. I could totally see some adults behaving badly after doing some day drinking and yelling, "Hey, my kid was here first to get a picture with Elmo." Although, I think that happens even with some sober adults. Lol.

This new possible plan wouldn't be like an open bar. There would be 2 beer options and 2 wine options. It will all be served in clearly labeled plastic cups, to avoid broken glass. I wonder if there would be characters on the cups. I don't know but, it wouldn't seem right to be drinking beer out of a Big Bird cup. Lol.

We'll see what happens. I'll keep you posted.

Sesame Place is in Langhorne, PA, near Oxford Valley Mall.
