Shopper “forgets” to pay for A-C units, gets arrested for shoplifting

Well it's been a hot summer, so hot a Galloway man "forgot" to pay for two air-conditioning units at a Little Egg Harbor Walmart on June 14.

An anonymous tip identified the shoplifter as 26-year old Keith Defeo of Galloway Township.

Little Egg Harbor Detectives along with Galloway Detectives went to the residence of Defeo and confirmed he was the subject in the images they had sent out to identify the shoplifter.

Defeo was issued a summons for shoplifting / receiving stolen property and will have a future court date.
