Six Flags Great Adventure is ready to kick off its 2020 season but is remaining off-limits and working with State officials when it comes to non-essential businesses staying closed. Great Adventure does have a plan when the green light is given to open their parks up.

According to Six Flags Great Adventure's website, guests will have to make reservations online to attend the parks. They also added:

Following local and regional COVID-19 health directives, we will open as soon as it is safe to do so. While there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at the properties, the safety of our guests, team members, and animals is always our highest priority. We will continue to closely monitor this evolving situation, and follow the most current guidance from federal, state, and local officials.

For those who purchased season passes, there is now a little more clarity on how this year will be handled. Again from the Six Flags website:

It's important to us that we provide you with all of the value you paid for. For each operating day that the park is closed during the 2020 Season, we will give you one additional operating day during the 2021 season. We will also be providing bonus free friend days and special benefits this summer when we re-open to make up for the inconvenience. Regular and Gold Members (usually purchased before 2018) should read the next item.

We will also have very special renewal offers on 2021 Season Passes just for 2020 Season Pass Holders to take into account the free days you receive. We're committed to ensuring that you receive great value on both your 2020 and your 2021 Season Passes. We appreciate your commitment and loyalty to Six Flags!
