Great Adventure’s “30-Hour Coffin Challenge” began at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Participants were "laid to rest" and will have to stay in their coffin until Monday at 7 p.m.

They will receive a six-minute bathroom break each hour, 13 minutes of cell phone usage each hour, meals in their coffins and unannounced visits from the Fright Fest freaks. For all of the brave souls who make it, they will win two 2019 Gold Season Passes and Dining Passes, two Express Haunted Maze Passes, $300 and, the coffins they occupied.

The park will open Monday at 5:30 p.m. for your chance to watch what they are calling the "exhuming ceremony"

In the meantime watch the coffin dwellers live.
