It is important to remember that there are still many people trying to recover from Superstorm Sandy. This concert will help raise money, and you're invited.

Thousands of families who lost their homes to Sandy have now suffered through three winters without being home. St. Bernard Project New Jersey serves low -to moderate- income residents, with a special focus on families with small children, the elderly, disabled persons, war veterans, and the under - and uninsured victims.

SBP's mission is to ensure that disaster-impacted citizens and communities recover. So SBP continues to work in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, rebuilding and repairing homes damaged by the superstorm.

SBP has rebuilt homes for more than 950 families with the help of 100,000 volunteers in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and in Monmouth County after Sandy, among other disaster areas.

You're invited to a wonderful event this Saturday, August, 22nd, at Highlands' Veterans Memorial Park for Sounds of Recovery, a benefit concert. $15 is the suggested donation for a day of stellar music, local food vendors and $5 drinks in the beer garden, plus awesome raffle prizes.

It runs from Noon - dusk and features Karmic Juggernaut, The Cranston Dean Band, The Underwater Sounds, The Shady Street Show Band, Dark City Strings, Subject to Change, and Lakehouse Music Academy.
