It will be interesting what ends up dominating the business scene in the months and years to come. Will it be giant store chains and fast food? will the local “Mom & Pop” stores make a comeback or will we see in increase in “invisible” business aka online shopping….What do YOU think?

I originally covered this story over a year ago while making a trip through Toms River in the area of Hooper Avenue and Church Road. The former site of the popular Charlie Brown’s Fresh Grill. It’s been closed for over a year and I haven’t heard any word of anything new moving into the space.

Many folks loved Charlie Brown’s and it will be missed, but this brings us to the question of what could be next? This is prime real estate right along the heavily traveled Hooper Avenue in Toms River. I wonder just how many cars pass this location in a 24 hour period?

Since the Coronavirus Pandemic we have seen many changes to our business landscape not only here in Ocean County, but around the state and also around the nation. It will be interesting what ends up dominating the business scene in the months and years to come. Will it be giant store chains and fast food? will the local “Mom & Pop” stores make a comeback or will we see in increase in “invisible” business aka online shopping….What do YOU think?

Now back to this location, what do you think would be a good fix for this now empty location on this heavily traveled road in Toms River Township? Let us know your thoughts.
