Stores Shoppers Want To Have Open At Freehold Raceway Mall

It's been a ridiculously difficult year and a half for retailers. Even though it seems we hear about stores closing just about every day, I believe they will come back.

Hear me out. I know that online shopping is making it challenging for brick-and-mortar operations, but I think now that we are on the other side of COVID, people look forward to getting out of the house and exploring a bit.

New data out for 2021 shows that in-store retail shopping is on the rise post-pandemic. 61% of shoppers would rather shop with brands that also have physical location than ones that are online only.

Is it super convenient to be able to order just about anything from Amazon and have it arrive at your door in two days or less? Absolutely. But there's still something about walking up and down aisles, physically touching items, and browsing around that can't be replicated on our phones.
