A convicted sex offender from Ocean County found himself back in jail on Wednesday on charges that he allegedly persuaded a minor to send him vulgar pictures and asked the child to engage in inappropriate behavior.
A Brick Township man is charged with possessing child porn following his arrest by township police and Ocean County Prosecutors who also teamed up with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in the investigation.
Innocent people are sometimes arrested, but if their mugshots or rap sheets are posted on websites before charges are dropped or they are acquitted, it can ruin their reputations. Some shady website operators know this, and are actually charging arrested people not to post the embarrassing information.
