A once-popular New Jersey restaurant chain has quietly closed nearly all of its locations, leaving only one still in operation. The abrupt move has surprised loyal customers and raised questions about what went wrong.

It'll be taking over the location of the former brunch spot Hash House A Go-Go which suddenly closed last year. The new restaurant got preliminary approval from Moorestown officials to open up in lot 1375 in the Moorestown Mall on Monday.

NJ.com reports that last year, in 2023 Walmart had to close 24 stores across the country, including laying off 200 people in the Garden State who worked at a Walmart distribution center. Now, NJ.com is saying that more store closings are in the works for the massive chain.
