Back in October, we teamed up with the Red Cross and asked you to spread some holiday cheer via cards to active duty soldiers and veterans.

You all truly went above and beyond, and the results are awesome!

So many people sent cards through the mail, brought them to our studios, and dropped them off at Point events. There were hundreds of gorgeous cards, some handmade, some with beautiful messages, all with the hopes of making members of our military smile and know that people are thinking of them.

Diane Concannon, Communications Director for the American Red Cross NJ region, stopped by to pick up the boxes of cards and sent us an awesome follow-up.

She let us know that some of the cards from Point listeners were included in the "100 Comforts of Home" packages to be sent to troops overseas.

Other cards will go to soldiers and veterans right here in New Jersey.

I'm so appreciative and overwhelmed by the amount of people who participated in this campaign, and I'm thrilled to know that we can send a little love to those who are fighting for our country, or have already served.

Thank you, Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays to all!
