Thank You Veterans

They have made indescribable sacrifices. They have put themselves between us and danger. They have displayed amazing courage. Today we offer our thanks.

In addition to the sacrifices made by our veterans, there have been incredible sacrifices made by the families and the loved ones of these heroes. And today, we thank them as well.

For all the complaining we do in this great country, whether it's politics, economy or policy, one thing is a constant. The bravest men and women in the world have protected our freedoms since the day this country's history began.

I often wonder if I could be one tenth as courageous as these amazing people, or be willing to make one tenth the sacrifices. I don't know the answer to that, but I do know this. I am incredibly appreciative of what our veterans have done for us, and what our active servicemen and women are doing for us right now.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you veterans.
