The Favorite Cookie At The Jersey Shore Is…

I was sitting here in the studio thinking about how many types of cookies there are around Christmas. I was also trying to figure out the most go to cookie here at the Jersey Shore. Then I thought about what I see the most of in the stores and at holiday parties. My favorites are the Italian cookies, you know the leaf cookies or the shortbread with the jam in the middle, or the ones that are dipped in chocolate. I also loved my mom’s oatmeal cookies and the thumbprint cookies with the chocolate kiss on top. That’s when it dawned on me. There are two cookies in particular that I see everywhere and I became curious to see which of these cookies people at the Jersey Shore liked the most. These cookies I consider the two most basic cookies that have ever existed, but both so very yummy especially right out of the oven!

These cookies are Chocolate Chip and Sugar Cookies.

I took a poll and the results actually shocked me.  The winner is Sugar Cookie! I love a good warm sugar cookie to dunk into my glass of milk, but chocolate chip is my ultimate favorite cookie of the two! I guess the sugar cookie is more festive cause it can be decorated?
