What recession?

The world's priciest cocktail has been mixed up, so what's in the drink with an $8800 price tag?

'Salvatore's Legacy,' created by mixologist Salvatore Calabrese at London's Playboy Club, consists of Clos de Griffier Vieux Cognac from 1788, Kummel Liqueur from 1770, Dubb Orange Curacao from 1860 and two dashes of Angostura Bitters from the 1900s.

Officials from the Guinness Book of Records are investigating to see if it really is the world's most expensive drink. (Investigating? Really? What does that entail?)

In case you were wondering, the drink was purchased by one of Calabrese's long-time customers.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to happy hour for a $2 vodka and club.
