Yesterday I wrote a story about an asteroid hurdling towards Earth and I caught myself saying, "that's so 2020," because it's true. 2020 sucks. But hey, I am sure there are bunch of great things that happened this year, that is for another very short article.

I feel like 2020 has been full to gags that can be turned into Halloween costumes, so I did some research and that is exactly what I found.

The Vice Presidential FlyI am totally not trying to be political, but this is really clever. Shortly after the vice-presidential debate with Kamala Harris, Mike Pence, and the pesky fly, social media went crazy and soon after we got a Halloween costume on sale at a local Walmart or Spirit Halloween near you. It basically consists of a suit and tie, white hair coloring, and a small fly that will be perched on your head. Again, this is so clever.

Coronavirus Spore: I have yet to see it on the shelves of my local costume store, but I definitely think that it is coming. Making the Coronavirus spore would be actually relatively easy to do. All you need is to dress in white and put some red dots on yourself. That, of course, would be the most rudimentary version of the costume.

A Ruler: I actually made this one up myself! How great would it be if a simple ruler measuring six feet was on the shelf as a costume. It would be so easy to make and honestly everyone would get the gist! It would also remind people to social distance while they are getting candy.

What do you think should be added to the 2020 list of Halloween costumes? Let us know in the comment section below! Happy Halloween!
