This is totally my opinion, but living in Ocean County, you might never have done this.

It's the high in the sky Seaside Heights Sky Ride. It is so relaxing. After a day on the beach and the boards, head to the sky ride. Sit back, relax, and hold your flipflops.

Here's an amazing video of the Seaside Heights Sky Ride from youtube, it feels like you're riding the ride:

The Seaside Heights Sky Ride even has a page on expedia.com, that's pretty cool. Not only is it relaxing but the scenery is just the best anywhere. Your feet are hanging right over the Seaside Heights Beach. You can see everything from the sky ride, including the MTV hit show, "Jersey Shore", and where they all would hang out on the roof. It's pretty cool and I remember how popular the sky ride was when they were shooting the show. There were lines to get on the sky ride.

Now, years later, there aren't usually lines, you can hop right on. There is a separate payment for the sky ride, different then the credits for the rides on Casino Pier.

The nice thing about the Seaside Heights Sky Ride, it brings you back. You don't have to get off on the other side. You stay seated and enjoy the ride back.

It's also a hot spot for an engagement, how romantic? I love that idea.

There's always a cool breeze and an awesome view of the ocean, how could I forget that. Prices for the Seaside Heights Sky Ride - $7 Round Trip - $4.50 One Way.

Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
