My Fiancée and I were watching the sunset in Seaside Heights last night, ending our weekend on a high note.

We like to go down to Sunset Bay in Seaside, right next to the Stewarts Rootbeer, that way if the mood strikes and we want a float, it's a short walk.

Last night, while we were sitting and enjoying another gorgeous sunset a woman just happened to come sit down next to us and started talking.

I think she was mainly talking to herself at first, but eventually got Rachel and I into the conversation saying how much she loves watching the sunset.

She said no matter how many times she sees it, it amazes her and she just loves it.

It really is the little things right?

Well, I love a good sunset as much as the next person but there's something about the moon and the beach that I just love even more.

Back before living at the Jersey Shore, when we'd come to Lavallette for vacation.

There were always one or two nights we'd make sure to get to the beach for a midnight stroll and to see the moonlight reflect off the ocean.

It's such a cool sight.

Well this week, the moon is going to be absolutely stellar when we see two nights of full moons!

According to an NJ.Com article we will see the biggest full moon, a "supermoon" Wednesday night into Thursday and then again Thursday night into Friday.

You may be thinking that we just had a super moon in May, and maybe your an avid moon watcher and know that we're supposed to get another full moon in August.

That's true, and the NJ.Com article does mention this.

But they also mention that this months supermoon will have the moon being the absolute closest  to Earth therefore making it the biggest full moon of 2022.

If you're looking to watch the moonrise, or if you're an early riser and want to watch the moonset you can get all the time and dates from on TimeandDate.com.

My recommendation is to just make a trip out to one New Jersey's many beaches one night and enjoy the moon with the sand in between your toes.

Be sure to send your Supermoon picks to us on the app, or email them to me at douglas.buehler@townsquaremedia.com
