Brick Police have announced the arrests of three juveniles from northern New Jersey who are tied to a string of vehicle burglaries and thefts that took placed in February.

On February 6 Brick Police received reports of over 40 burglaries to vehicles as well as 4 vehicle thefts in the Midstreams section of town, east of Jordan Road.

Brick Police coordinated their investigation with neighboring Point Pleasant Police who learned that the suspects had driven the stolen vehicles to the Exxon station at the corner of Route 88 and Bridge Avenue and after fueling up, they left without paying.

Detectives then discovered that the stolen vehicle went through the Union Toll Plaza on Parkway North at 6:45 that morning.

They followed leads and discovered footage of the stolen vehicle on the surveillance cameras at a White Castle Drive Thru in Irvington.

Three male juveniles were seen in the vehicle on the camera, one of them tossing stolen credit and debit cards out the window.

Following the detectives leads, the NJSP Auto Theft Task Force out of Newark tied numerous vehicle thefts and burglaries throughout the state to the three juvenile suspects.

On April 17, that Task Force concluded its investigations into dozens of cases with arrests of the three juveniles and accompanying delinquency complaints.
