Traffic Alert: Major Coffee Chain Opening At NJ’s Busiest Intersection
There’s been a bit of construction activity happening near one of New Jersey's busiest corners, and locals have been guessing what’s moving in. Every few weeks, another passerby snaps a photo of the worksite and posts it in a neighborhood Facebook group with the caption, “Anyone know what this is going to be?”
At first, guesses were all over the place. Some thought it was a drive-thru car wash. One person even said it looked like a new bank. We already know about the 7Brew locations popping up.

Brick’s Morning Scene Is About to Change
This spot sits in a prime location near the Parkway exit, surrounded by spots people already hit on their way to work. There’s coffee on every corner, including Dunkin' and Wawa, giving you choices on where to grab your caffeine fix before sitting in traffic.
The structure’s been coming together for months beside the Shell station on “Old” Lanes Mill Road, near Burnt Tavern. Once it opens, it’s expected to be a go-to for commuters thanks to the easy access from both sides of the intersection. Construction crews have been busy finishing up the interior while locals wait for the official opening date, which is expected in early 2026.
A Taste of Something Different
What’s making people curious isn’t just the new look of the building but the brand behind it. This coffee monster already has thousands of restaurants worldwide, from North America to Europe and Asia. It’s best known for its coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and something sweet that pairs perfectly with a morning commute. They even added flatbread pizzas to their lineup recently to keep things interesting beyond breakfast hours.
Fans of the chain say it has that “comfort food with a friendly vibe” feeling that keeps them coming back. And now, residents of Brick won’t have to drive to another county to get it.
So, for anyone who’s ever wondered what it would be like to start their day with a bit of Canadian charm right here at the Shore, you’ll soon get your chance. The new Tim Hortons is set to open at 1 Lanes Mill Road in Brick, just steps from the Parkway.
