Toms River native Todd Frazier made it all the way to the final round at the Home Run Derby last night.

Frazier connected for only two home runs early in the first round, but managed to advance and have a great second round, only to take on one of the great home run hitters in the derby, Giancarlo Stanton, in the next round.

Frazier out-homered Stanton in that round to take the top spot for the National League, and ultimately lost in the final round to Yoenis Cespedes, last year's Home Run Derby winner. Still, it was an amazing showing for Frazier.

Frazier was a member of the 1998 Toms River Little League team that won the Little League World Series, and currently plays for the Cincinnati Reds. He is a reserve for the National League at tonight's All Star Game.
