Police said a man walked up to an Officer as he pulled into the parking lot around 1:00 am on Tuesday.

He told the police officer that he was trying to get on his bicycle outside of the Wawa when two men came up to him, pulled out a handgun and robbed him and then fled the area.

Toms River Police began an investigation and to this point they said there was an interaction that took place between the three men outside the store prior to the officers arrival.

Nothing happened inside the store and the incident remains under further investigation.

If you happened to be in the area at that time or know anything that happened, call Toms River Police.
