The Toms River Police Department shared an awesome story to warm your heart on this frosty cold day!

It says that two TRPD officers were out eating lunch in Toms River, and when they returned to their patrol cars, a note was waiting on the windshield.

It says, "Didn't want to interrupt you while you were eating, but thank you for everything you do." It was signed by an "aspiring police officer."

In sharing the photo of the note, TRPD said, "It really is a pleasure to serve the residents of Toms River. ... The officers that serve this great town appreciate the ongoing support from this community and we will continue to serve Toms River with professionalism and respect for all. Thank you."

What a great reminder of how easy it is to spread joy!
