Paul E. Hansen, 36, of Linden Road in the township, was arrested two days after the December 20 incident at a TD Bank branch on Fischer Boulevard, according to information today issued by Toms River police.

Authorities credited tips that arrived after images were circulated on social media with leading to the robbery charged filed December 22.

Police said that the suspect demanded money in a note slipped to a teller which read, in part, "If you don’t follow these instructions then I will shoot you and everyone else in the bank.”

Police did not specif whether any related charges are being filed.

Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
