Toms River woman found with Ecstasy at traffic stop in Lakehurst
Lakehurst Police place a Toms River woman under arrest after finding Ecstasy, Codeine, CDS and Drug Paraphernalia upon a search of her vehicle.
A carwas heading east in a silver Honda on Route 37 when an officer saw that they were having trouble keeping in the lane of travel.
There were three people in the car at the time of the traffic stop.
Elisha Bellamy, 18, was in the front seat and a search of the vehicle found her in possession of the drugs.
Following a traffic stop where police found the drugs, Bellamy was arrested and brought to the station for processing.
She was charged with possession and issues a summons for the charges before being released pending a mandatory court appearance with the Ocean County Superior Court.
