Congratulations to all of the graduates in Monmouth and Ocean counties! We've put together a list of the Top 5 graduation songs.

Eve 6 "Here's to the Night"

This song doesn’t explicitly mention graduation but it’s all about holding on to memories. I mean, it’s the perfect soundtrack for a Kumbaya moment. I can just see people putting it on at a graduation party for strictly laughing purposes only to end up sobbing hysterically in each others arms after about two minutes.

Third Eye Blind "Graduate"

This song reminds me of the best graduation movie ever, Can’t Hardly Wait. Seth Green, Selma Blair, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Melissa Joan Hart, Sara Rue, Jenna Elfman and so many more. Also, have you ever actually listened to Third Eye Blind’s debut album? It’s weirdly brilliant.

3

Baz Luhrmann "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)"

Wait, how did a serious film director manage to have a successful pop song in which he just did spoken word over a lame beat? Does this blow anyone else's minds? It’s also seven minutes long, which is about four minutes over the pop song limit.

Vitamin C "Graduation (Friends Forever)"

This song is the most obvious graduation anthem. It should really be retitled to “Graduation (Friends Forever Until We Move On And Start To Ignore Each Other Text Messages)”, but I guess that’s not as catchy.

Green Day "Time of Your Life (Good Riddance)"

Whenever I hear this song, I think of the end of Seinfeld and then my graduation. Is that weird?
