Tractor Pull At Delicious Orchards A Great Event

This past Saturday was the first Delicious Orchards Tractor Pull to benefit the Ashley Lauren Foundation.

We start with the absolutely perfect weather for this event, and there is no better place to enjoy a gorgeous weather day than Delicious Orchards. Add into it groups of people donating their time (and muscle) to help a great cause, and you have a great Saturday.

The spirit of giving was alive and well as teams gathered to pull a 10,000 pound tractor across the Delicious Orchards parking lot (uphill I might add) to help families dealing with a diagnosis of pediatric cancer through the Ashley Lauren Foundation.

If you were out there, you know it was a day of family fun that included face painting and games for the kids, and of course, food for all in addition to the star attraction, the tractor pull.

I was proud to serve as emcee for the tractor pull and Diane and I brought our grandson Jonathan and Dian's mom, and everybody had a great time. The hardest part of the day was telling Jonathan we had to leave.
