Here is a list of dates for all of the fun to be had in Asbury Park this holiday season, now that the 35-foot tree has arrived!

This beautiful tree is now inside Asbury Park's Convention Hall and a sure sign of the excitement of the holidays to follow.

It all begins with Small Business Saturday, which takes place the day after Black Friday. So mark your calendars for Nov. 30th and do some shopping locally to support the wonderful small business in Asbury Park and pick up some original, creative, and fantastic gifts for all your loved ones, from clothing to home décor, toys to appliances, Asbury Park has it all.

Then that evening (Sat. night, Nov. 30th) you're invited to the 12th Annual Boardwalk Christmas Tree Lighting as the Grand Arcade Christmas Tree inside Convention Hall is lit up. Doors open at 5:30 with live music, festivities, Santa, and the tree lighting itself, which is scheduled for 6:45 pm. (Space is limited so get there early because they will have to close the doors once they reach capacity...but it is still something you can enjoy from the boardwalk even if you aren't inside.)

The Asbury Park Bazaar will be in full swing that evening until 10pm so you can stay and shop late! Dozens of specialty vendors will be on hand in addition to all of the amazing shops already open inside Convention Hall (see below for more info on this amazing Bazaar and all of the dates that it will run.)

There are also THREE other tree lightings in Asbury Park this holiday season, including the downtown tree lighting in Press Plaza on Dec. 7th with festivities beginning at 5:30 pm surrounding the 25-foot tree where Cookman Ave. meets Emory St. This is a wonderful family event featuring carolers, photos with Santa, cookies and hot cocoa for all.

The Asbury Park Holiday Bazaar runs on the following dates:
November 30, December 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22.

It features a curated roster of the best local and regional artists, vendors, and shops selling the cutest and coolest vintage, handmade, art, jewelry, home goods, foodstuffs, and more. The event will feature live music and special performances, Photos with Santa Sundays, holiday photo booth pictures, fireplace lounge, and beautiful holiday decor.

While you shop, enjoy a seasonally-inspired menu and holiday drinks at the Anchors Bend and Asbury Oyster Bar. And your kids can take part in art classes and holiday craft workshops.

The holiday market is inspired by the traditional "Weihnachtsmarkts" in Germany. Stop by the hot drink bar to enjoy traditional glühwein (hot mulled wine), hot chocolate or hot cider while you shop!

Bring a toy or gently used coat for the AP Toy & Coat Drive or donate what you can and you will receive a 4x6 print of your Photo with Santa, along with copies of your photos emailed to you. Pets are invited to meet Santa as well!
