Tropical Storm Isaias may have sped through Monmouth & Ocean Counties, but it's visit left plenty of damage and a ridiculous amount of power outage at the Jersey Shore.

When it comes to power outages, the numbers are still pretty astounding and could be a couple of days before all of us have the power back on in the Monmouth & Ocean Counties area.

At the time of preparing this article, here are the number of customers without power in Monmouth & Ocean Counties as we wake up this morning, according to JCP&L...

105,704...the number of customers in Monmouth County without power this morning.

39,926...how many customers have no power this morning in Ocean County.

There are no solid estimates on when the power will be restored for these customers, but there is a definite possibility some customers might have think in terms of days instead of hours.

Of course, crews had to wait for what seemed like an endless amount time for the opportunity to get power restoration started, since the late Tuesday afternoon and evening winds were stubborn and stuck around way longer than we would have liked.

Despite that, crews have been working non-stop.to get the lights back on, and crews from all over the country, and even Canada, have joined the battle, and that can only help. But this storm was widespread and violent and there is a lot of work still ahead.

Officials remind you that if you are calling about a power outage, that call should be directed to the power company. Please do not call 9-1-1 to report a power outage or inquire about one.
