In an effort to nail the suspect who held up a Howell Township convenience store at gunpoint before dawn Wednesday, police issue surveillance images of him and his car, and urge anyone who recognizes him to contact them.

The Country Farms shop on Route 524, Adelphia Road, was robbed at about 5:40 AM by a lone individual, face covered by a black mask, who filled a bag with cash and Marlboro Red cigarettes while aiming a black, semi-automatic handgun at the clerk, then ran off. No shots were fired, no assault took place and no one was injured.

Police describe him as a white male, likely in his 20s or 30s in age, standing between 5'8" and six feet in height, with a medium build.

During the robbery, he wore a grey baseball cap inscribed with the brand "Stussy" across the front, a long-sleeved grey shirt, dark grey sweatpants and tan work boots.

The bag is colored black on the outside, red on the inside, described as possibly a tool bag.

Police said that the suspect drove a tan-gold, four-door, 2000 - 2003 Nissan Maxima, exhibiting damage in the spot at which the driver's side door meets the fender, with possibly extended fender damage.
