If you wondered just how much New Jersey would be part of MTV's 2019 VMA's, the answer is very much.

First of all, the whole event took place at Newark's Prudential Center. Very New Jersey. It featured a closing that spotlighted some of the Garden State's best, including Queen Latifah and Naughty By Nature. That's very Jersey.

Of course, there were the Jonas Bros. at the Stone Pony and the Summer Stage, and it doesn't get more Jersey than that. And there was the cute segment of the Jonas Bros. talking about their Garden State memories and some of the best musical artists to come out of the Garden State.

And it was also great seeing the likes of John Travolta and Victor Cruz talking about their New Jersey roots. We'll even give supermodel Adriana Lima a pass for shouting, "Hello, New York"!

But the best Jersey moment, in my opinion, was when three cast members of the very Jersey Sopranos TV show handed the best Pop trophy to the Jonas Bros. It was pretty awesome seeing Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Drea DeMatteo, and Vincent Pastore handing the prize to some Jersey natives.

That's very, very Jersey, and I loved every minute of it. It was my favorite VMA's in years, and I hope MTV considers keeping it in the Garden State for years to come! You can see photos of the big moments at the MTV website.
