Wawa Recall Alert: How To Get Your Free Tumbler Replacement Or Gift Card
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of Wawa tumblers.
They say the metal straw inside the tumbler poses a laceration hazard to your mouth and fingers.
Wawa Tumbler Recall in New Jersey
The 60,000 Wawa-branded tumblers were sold in August at Wawa stores in several states, including Alabama, Washington D.C., Delaware, Florida, North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland.
They cost about $13 and came in 4 different colors:
The Mermaid - pink/green
Island Surf - blue/yellow
Sailor Breeze - tan/orange
The Galaxy - blue/pink
All 4 tumblers came with a tan lid, were 24 ounces, and had Wawa imprinted on the side.
There have been reports of injuries so if you have one it's being recommended you stop using it right away!

Here's what they're asking you to do.
Do not return the tumbler and straw to your local Wawa store, but rather stop using it right away and contact HALO for instructions on how to get a free silicone straw replacement.
If you don't want to keep the tumbler or the straw, you can return both and receive a $15 gift card.
Both the tumbler and straw have to be returned to HALO.
A receipt is NOT required and you'll be provided a pre-paid label for shipping the recalled units.
