This week we had our first snowstorm for the new year and for the first snow of 2022 it was a whopper for many in Southern Ocean County. Little Egg Harbor recorded the highest snow total with a reported 13.2 inches...one of the largest storms for this area of Ocean County in quite some time.

So of course this storm hit right in the middle of the morning while many motorists were out trying to start their day, so traffic was heavy and so was the snow.

So we want to see what YOU thought as you tried to travel on Monday during the snow, how were drivers and how did they handle our first storm with bad road conditions?

As I traveled out of Toms River and headed south the roads got worse with more snow to the southern portion of Ocean County. Crews were out and doing their best, but it was getting slick as I got further south on the Graden State Parkway. CLICK HERE to see pics from the storm.

Overall I thought that motorists seemed to be behaving and taking their time in the snow, just a few "speed racers" but overall traffic moved cautiously down the parkway. I always air on the side of caution when it comes to snow or rain and I slow down, not worth it to me to be in a rush and possibly have an accident. Ya, I'm the slow-poke in front of you, but I may save you from yourself by going a bit slower in bad weather.

How did YOU feel about folks on the roads during Monday's storm? Let's give them a grade and see what drivers receive....pick your grade below and let's see if we PSS or FAIL...
