This summer we've seen an unusual amount of sharks at the beach. But, we've also seen a bunch of dolphins, whales and other aquatic sightings very close to the shoreline. Why? Find out, and check out some amazing shots after the jump!

The reason we are seeing more dolphins than usual this summer is simply because there are more of them to see. One reason for that is the abundance of bunker fish, which are a popular feeding choice for dolphins and sharks as well.
