What’s Coming to Howell Commons – and What’s Leaving

Some big changes are coming. Here's what's moving in...and what's moving out!

Some residents aren't sure what this might mean for the Freehold Burlington, but a sign in the Howell Commons Plaza has announced this GREAT news:

Burlington Coat Factory is moving in!!! And (as we previously announced) Old Navy is also moving in.

The Planning Board has also approved a 2,820 square foot addition to the plaza.

Rumor has it that Pier 1 and Petco are leaving, but could Petco just be moving to a new location in the same plaza? If not, you will have a LOT of upset pet owners! There is a PetSmart in Freehold BUT many loyal Petco lovers say that PetSmart doesn't carry all the same things, plus the staff is really friendly at this Petco.

Pier 1 is starting to offer sales at the Howell Commons location, and it looks like they will stay open at least until March, if not April.

It will be really nice to see this shopping center fill up again with retailers :)
