Will Dark Knight Rises Win The Box Office This Weekend?

The big new movie out this weekend is Total Recall, with Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Beil. It's expected to be a big opening weekend, but will it be big enough to take the top spot from Dark Knight Rises?

I dont think so. I think that the Dark Knight Rises has a chance to bring in about $35 million this weekend, and I don't think Total Recall will top $30 million. The other big release this weekend is the Fox movie Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Dog Days.  It doesn't really have a realistic chance at the top spot, but it could break $20 million.

So here's my prediction. Topping the box office this weekend will be Dark Knight Rises ($34 million), at #2,  Total Recall with $24 million and in third, Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, pulling in $20 million. Pretty specific for a guy who hasn't gotten one right yet, don't you think?
