Okay soooo this is what I am picturing... I wake up on Saturday October 24th, brush my teeth, throw on my workout clothes, hop in my car to make my way to the Spring Lake boardwalk for a run and as I'm driving by the lake, I see a ton of witches paddle boarding. I think to myself, this has to be the coolest and most unique Jersey Shore Halloween tradition ever! Witches and warlocks paddle-boarding?? I LOVE IT!!

This year the witches and warlocks will be paddle-boarding October 24th at 10am. Those participating are asking for sponsorships and they hope to raise $10,000. Proceeds of the event will go towards the Spring Lake Theatre Recovery Fund. The event is limited to 50 attendees and they are asking each paddler to make a $25 donation for the first annual paddle. The Witches are at full capacity for the event however, If you want to donate to the Spring Lake Theatre Recovery Fund, click this link.

COVID-19 is challenging us all and unfortunately the Spring Lake Theatre & Community House is facing unprecedented times. With the loss of income from the shows, as well as recital shows, workshops and summer classes, the Spring Lake Theatre & Community House will see a shortfall of over $200,000. Unfortunately, there won't be a production of their classic production of Scrooge this year. They hope to continue to provide a loving home for the performing arts and events like this can help jump-start their recovery process! The Witches of Spring Lake Paddle for a Cause Facebook event page can be found by clicking this link.

Have fun to those participating and thank you for supporting local Jersey Shore theatre!
