The Worst Halloween Candy: Jersey Shore Dislikes Vs. National Poll Results
It's the Halloween candy no kid wants.
They walk all the way to your house only to be rewarded with a piece of candy that they'll likely throw away because it's disgusting, and no one in their family wants it either.
You want to avoid being the one who gives out bad candy on Halloween!!
But what's considered to be the worst Halloween candy?
We need to know!

Here's the deal. I asked on Facebook, "What's the Worst Halloween Candy?"
Someone did respond by saying there's no such thing as bad candy, but apparently that's not true because I got a lot of responses and there was clearly a "worst candy" winner.

The Jersey Shore has spoken and it's NOT the same answer as a recent survey by CandyStore.com.
USA Today showed the results of that survey and although the Jersey Shore's least favorite candy did make the top 10 of the national poll, it's NOT considered the #1 least favorite candy.
Let's see how the two compare by starting with the national poll.
America's Worst Halloween Candy
10. Tootsie Roll
9. Bit-O-Honey
8. Licorice
7. Smarties
6. Mary Janes
5. Wax Cola Bottles
4. Peanut Butter Kisses
3. Necco Wafers
2. Candy Corn
1. Circus Peanuts
I do agree that Circus Peanuts are disgusting!!
But, Circus Peanuts are not considered the be the worst Halloween candy at the Jersey shore.
The Jersey Shore's Worst Halloween Candy
The big winner is Candy Corn.
Candy Corn did come in 2nd in the national poll and was only recently replaced by Circus Peanuts, but it's considered the very worst Halloween candy at the Jersey Shore.
People have such strong opinions when it comes to Candy Corn, either loving it or hating it, but there's no in-between.
It just so happens I LOVE Candy Corn!
