As I was driving around the Garden State over the weekend, it dawned on me that I was bouncing all over the place due to the poor conditions on many of the roads I was traveling on.
These roads have too many cars, too much traffic, and constant construction, so it comes as no surprise that the bouncing is happening.
But where is the worst place to drive in New Jersey? Which road is in the worst condition in the whole state?
New Jersey Drivers Vote For New Jersey's Worst Road
We decided to ask the foremost experts on the topic. We didn't ask people in a lab or state officials. We asked the people who drive on these roads every day, you, the drivers of the Garden State.

It was an informal survey done on social media platforms and in person. We simply asked which New Jersey road currently had the worst conditions.
Once we eliminated the top answer, "All of them", we tabulated the rest and came up with your top 3 worst in New Jersey.

The Three New Jersey Roads With The Worst Conditions According To You
#3 Route 18 - One New Jersey resident simply said, "Route 18 is the answer", and for many drivers, it is.

#2 Route 9 - The stretch from Lakewood to Freehold is especially challenging. It got the second most votes.
#1 Route 80 - Daun said this, "Interstate 80 at Wharton/Dover area. The sinkholes are outrageous!" More New Jersey residents voted for than for any other Garden State road.
