4500 Calories? Happy Thanksgiving!

According to a report on Sparkpeople.com, the average American will eat 4500 calories of food on Thanksgiving Day. Most of it doesn’t come from the big dinner or desserts though. According to the experts, a bulk of the calories come from the snacks we eat watching the parades and games all day. There is some good news though.

The experts say you will only gain one pound from all that eating! I don’t know about you, but I was pretty happy and relieved when I heard that! One pound? That’s not so bad. The way I eat on Thanksgiving, I figured I was in for three or four, and that was before the pumpkin pie. Only one pound…really? Something else to be thankful for!
