Jon Bon Jovi Stepping Away From the Band?

Could it be that after almost 30 years, Jon Bon Jovi is stepping away from the band?

Doesn't look like it. (Go ahead, you can start breathing again.) Jennifer Lopez said earlier this week she thinks Jon would be a great replacement for her as a judge on American Idol, but according to TMZ, that isn't likely to happen because of his work with the band.

They report a new album and plans for a huge tour are in the works, which would keep Jon from doing the show.

Jon hasn't released any kind of statement about it, but I don't think the show could afford him as a judge anyway.
