Rook Coffee to Open in Red Bank

It's been named as one of the best coffees in America, it's totally local, and it's expanding yet again, with another store in the works!

Rook Coffee, based in Monmouth County, is expanding into Red Bank.

Red Bank Green reports they'll open a store at 10 White St.(which interestingly enough, is about two doors away from the downtown Starbucks.)

Rook currently has shops in Long Branch, Little Silver, Wall, two in Oakhurst, and a soon-to-be-open store in Manalapan.

Rook offers various varieties of completely made to-order coffee by the cup, and of course, the cold brew, my God, the cold brew! Bonus, they always the nicest flippin people working!!

The plan is for it to be a takeout-only shop, and that's totally good with me.

If you don't know their story, Rook was co-founded by Holly Migliaccio and Shawn Kingsley, two friends since childhood, who decided to ditch their corporate jobs and focus on coffee. So amazingly ballsy, and clearly a brilliant move.
