When I stepped up to the foul line during the Globetrotters game, I had no idea that Big Easy was going to tuck my uniform shirt in for me. And I really had no idea he was going to hike my shorts up to my armpits. No wonder nobody beats this team.
Despite 4 points and solid all around play from world famous Globetrotter nemesis Lou Russo, Select could not overcome the mighty Harlem Globetrotters last night in front of a sold out crowd at Collins Arena in Lincroft. I always wanted a line like that written about me, and nobody else was going to do it, so I wrote it myself.
I was asked to play against the Harlem Globetrotters tonight at Collins Arena in Lincroft. They are familiar with my playing ability since I've played against them twice before (1point,0 rebounds), and the uniform they gave me speaks volumes.

Wednesday night at Collins Arena, the Harlem Globetrotters gave the crowd another great show. The kids were laughing all night long. What a great event for the whole family. I have to admit, the minute "Sweet Georgia Brown" came on, I felt like a kid again myself! I had a blast being the guest ref and even being part of a few of the Globetrotters signature plays!
Over the past two seasons, I have averaged 1.5 points per game against the legendary Harlem Globetrotters. Yep, that's me in the picture (00). At 5'2" (and that's rounding up a bit), I may be the most unlikely person in sports history to be in a two games against the famed basketball team, let alone score. Yet there it is in the record books...1.5 points per game. My parents are very proud.
