A Jersey Shore 5k for a Cause
There are always a ton of races happening at the Jersey Shore, and I've signed up for another one. (Eek!)
Luckily this one comes with its own motivation...it's a charity run.

If you were driving around Shrewsbury or Red Bank last night and were confused by the mass amounts of people running around in all directions...I can explain.
June 6 is National Running Day. If you haven't already, get out there and pound the pavement!
It's never too late to achieve a goal.
It also doesn't matter if it takes you longer than you planned to complete it...better late than never, right?
Well after stuffing myself all week, it's back to reality.
I realized today that the Lake Como 5k is only 5 days away...and I'm nervous as anything.
Let me make this clear: I am NOT a runner. I, like so many, resolved myself to knowing that I'm just never going to be that person who can run for an extended period time (unless I'm being chased by a bear or a murderer). So how is it that I'm now preparing to run an entire 5k?
