It's hard to believe that it was just in April that a defenseless 15-year-old cocker spaniel was left in a garbage bag on the side of the road in Wall. Thanks to the kindness of many, Sammy has made a full recovery and now has a new home.

We've followed the story of Sammy the cocker spaniel from Brick from the very beginning. It's been a roller coaster of a tale with ups and downs. But Sammy is now with settling with his new foster family and judging from this video, he's doing very well.

Just a little over a week ago things were not looking good for a cocker spaniel found in a plastic bag on the side of the road in Wall. Thanks to the miracle workers at the Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, "Samurai" is on his way to a full recovery.
